Easter in Barbastro.

With centuries of history, Barbastro Easter, declared of Tourist Interest in Aragon in the BOA January 3, 2005, we live in a special way in our City.

Eight fraternities (Confraternity of San Jose, Confraternity of Our Lady of Mercy, Jesus Brotherhood Tied to the Column, Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazarene Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows, Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of the Agony, Brotherhood of Descent , Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulcher and Our Lady of Solitude) unite their wills to make organizing processions individually or jointly, an act that excites and involves everyone who sees them.

Since early March, our city welcomes a series of events prior to Holy Week processions, concerts, exhibitions, proclamations, acts of exaltation Drum …

The Acts of Easter, begins on Ash Wednesday (March 27, 2013) at 22.00, with the procession of the Holy Meeting, which flows into the corner of Paseo del Coso with Hotel San Ramon del Somontano.

On March 28, Holy Thursday, starts at 00.00 with the procession of the Seven Sorrows. At 2100, the processions start of Arrest and Flagellation.

On March 29, Good Friday, starts early at 7:00 a.m.. with the procession of the Cross, at 12.30, we can see the procession of the seven words, and 20.00h, the magnificent Procesión of Santo Entierro.
